What is this black piece surrounding the rear lock? Long story short the roofers reroofing my house broke it. I don't know it's name or where to find it. Name or part number would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Holy Crap!!
I paid $174.50 wholesale March of 2016 from my dealer for one of those.
You would probably still save $$ if you sourced a good used one, had the body shop wet sand it, and re-shoot it with clear coat. I saved my old one in case I needed to do that myself one day.
Called my trusty dealer today, the new price is correct, some 400.00, but he tells me the reason the part has been marked up so high, is because ford does this markup just before making the part obsolete, they mark it up, write off the new loss, and sell off to Vintage. Ford has 54 of these in stock now. He thinks between Feb and April 2018 the remaining parts will be avail at Vintage at their original price.

Reason: new info
What is "vintage"...a web site, a division of Ford...a dealership...??
Vintage parts is contracted to buy all NOS obsolete parts from Ford. I bought my NOS third brake light from them last year when they had 24 of them, now they're gone.
When I ask my dealer to look up parts, in addition to the nationwide Ford dealers search, his system includes the Vintage Parts inventory. I've bought many things from them recently.
