Looking for suggestions on bypass filter setup for my DIY oil cooler build. I will be using 12 an lines so I need a base that inlet/outlet isn't too small that would restrict flow. I'd really love to use a Fleetguard LF14000NN / Baldwin BD7153 but I cannot find a bypass filter base for it (m95 x 2.5).. I may just stick with a OB8722 base and BT8850-MPG filter..
Something like this? Little pricey here but look around you'll find something. Stop in your Napa and ask to check a catalog for what's available. They should have a book trhat will have dimensions listed including the inlet & outlets. You could also check at an equipment salvage yard and repurpose one.
You will need a area to mount long enough to be able to change filters, not get hit by rocks, and be able to run 2 #12s. All will play into the finale choice.

I've taken that into account but I need a good filter setup first. From what I can see both the base(s) and filter do not have a bypass on them.
