oil leaking

I have had a oil leak going on for a little while and it is getting worse.
I thought it was a fuel leak so i replaced every fuel line. hard and soft. Still leaking. i just replaces the oil cooler. It was dripping from the cooler but the oil was all over around it. The o rings looked like they were in good shape. but i replaced everything including the gaskets behind the from section where it mounts to the block. I rand out of light so no testing yet. I let it idles for about 30 min. My problem is i just cant see around the front section of the oil cooler and that looks like where it is leaking. Is there anything above it that could leak? Power steering is all new and not leaking. I don't think the valve covers are leaking, Again very hard to see.

Oil gallery plug right behind the AC and power steering bracket.

I agree with Adam. It's been awhile but you might be able to stick your finger down there and feel for oil, not much room though. IMO getting to that plug will be hard without removing the bracket. That being said do not remove the entire bracket as you will learn new swear words trying to install it back.

Go to Strictly Diesel's web site and download their instructions for e-fuel and they have a great write-up how to access that area. Basically you disconnect the AC unit bolts and bungee tie it to the hood springs. Then I think it's four or five bolts you need to remove from the bracket, but leave the bottom bolt in but loose. The entire bracket assembly will tip forward allowing access to the front oil gallery port.

The O ring does, you can buy just the new O ring or buy the entire plug with o ring for like $8-$10. Look at Riffraff.

Well so far its not leaking. I let it idle for an hour. I will test drive it tomorrow. with any luck it will not leak. With my luck it will dump all my oil and burn the truck down.
On a good not me wife said she wanted a big vehicle like an excursion. I said ok . 03 diesel 7.3 coming up. I'm not sure I want to get an older vehicle or not. but having 2 diesels that can tow is nice.

If it is that plug, it may not leak until you get on the skinny pedal and get the High Pressure Oil up there a bit. At idle it's only 600 PSI or so, but it can go up to about 2500 when you're getting on it.

it looks much better today. I do see a drop of oil on the fuel line. Low point. It could be resudual but likely not. I better replace the o ring too..

Well I drove 700 miles and next morning found oil drips and looks like diesel drips. The oil cooler is not leaking, I don't think the oil galley is leaking. I found the nut on the oil dipstick thing in the oil pan was off. some leakage there but little. looks like pressure blow by. I tightened it up. Will need to remove and clean it up then reseal it. I believe the rubber heater hose im using for the crankcase vent is leaking oil out. the hose is oily all over it. Heater hose does not seal off oil and it seeps through it. Plus it get hot as hell . I dont see where the diesel would be leaking from. I cant find a trail or anything. I left the fuel pump on with the engine off for 10 min and no leaks.

Well I don't think I have a diesel leak but a coolant leak. I don't know where it is coming from yet, up high as it was wet on top of the water pump. the cooling system is 100% new. every part of it. I took it for a run and got temps up to normal but no new moisture. Found my newly rebuild axle has a seal leaking. Figures. Some oil under the passenger head. maybe pressure or residual oil from old oil cap leaking really bad. I need to re clean the engine. I guess I should change valve cover gaskets. and the o ring behind the ac bracket just to be sure its not them. I freaking hate oil leaks. At least its running good.
