Keys in pocket engine running honk difference.

I had a job 1 2017 Lariat and the double honk was louder and longer, my current 2017 KR is shorter and not as loud.

I like it a lot better. Not quite as jarring.

First thing I disabled with ForScan after getting the truck home.

I disabled mine yesterday after having my truck for a week. I've actually never heard the double honk.

The double honk is hands down the worst thing in these new trucks. Might as well honk the horn when seat belt is off and when phone rings.

I leave my keys if the truck most of the time now.

Not you - I thought your comments were interesting and appreciate the info. I didn't know there was a difference, and it seems like Ford has tried to make it less annoying, which is good. My comment was for those that hate the honk but won't do anything about it.
