Need advise removing switches.
Stripping my '55 cab today and cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the:
Light Switch,
Wiper Switch, or
Ignition Switch out.
Trying to treat them gentle but not having much luck. Probably something simple Of course it's not the easiest place to access. Thanks for the help guys!

The headlight switch has a button on top between the terminals that you have to press while pulling out on the switch **** (I would advise disconnecting the battery first), and then the bezel just unscrews. The windshield wiper **** just pops off, and the bezel unscrews - I used a pair of channel locks and a piece of rubber hose over the bezel. The ignition switch has to be pushed from the rear into the back of the dash and turned (forgot which way) then the bezel will come straight off, IIRC. (I would advise disconnecting the battery first).

Here is a picture of the *****/switches that came out of my dash.
Light Switch:
"A" is the button you push in to pull the ****/stem out of the light switch.
With the switch all the way in, push the button and the stem will pull right out. Then you unscrew the collar that passes through the bezel and into the frame of the switch.
Wiper Switch:
You can see the set screw Big Job is talking about in the wiper ****.
With the **** off, you unscrew the collar that passes through the bezel on onto the switch.
Choke:
You simply unscrew the nut on the back and pull the cable through everything.
Ignition Switch:
You can see the ears on the downturned bezel. You push the switch toward you, then turn the bezel to the left to unlock the ears from the body of the switch.
Lighter:
You simply (yeah, right) unscrew the bigger barrel from the smaller barrel. If there is much corrosion, the barrel changes into a bear. It's especially fun when it turns just a little then locks up. Then you are turning the whole thing in the dash.
There should also be a heater switch in there somewhere, but neither of my trucks had one. One had an aftermarket toggle switch, the parts truck had a variable speed switch from an older model.
