XL for me, Loving it!!! Tows and stops my 36 foot Excel 5th wheel like a champ
I'm with you. I special ordered my XL with a slew of options I wanted. Sales guy said in his 18 years of selling ford trucks he never had seen so many options on an XL truck. Kind of made me think I totally screwed the pooch for a minute! LoL There's something great about vinyl seats and rubber floor mats. I also wanted manual transfer case shifter and manual hubs, so I had to stay below a Lariat. Not an ESOF fan. Mainly got the drw for slide in camper hauling and heavy equipment towing in the future.
After owning 2010 xlt and having a 2016 lariat in those model years a platinum did not have that much difference in options or looks . After building a 17 lariat and seeing where I was with equipment and price and could get the ultimate platinum they had in stock with options I wasn’t adding and a lot more for a couple grand more I had to take it. The best is the adaptive cruise control and the massage seats . And all the options that I use.My friend who has always owned Porsche’s and has a suv one jumped in and could not believe the comfort of the seats and all the adjustment they have and the interior and ride . If I had endless money I would use this thing for work and just replace it often but since I don’t ,I use it for just for pulling my bass boat and go to dinner it’s better than a Porsche. I like them all and if I could have 2 I would get a 2 wheel drive short box standard cab diesel and put all the performance stuff into it and it would fly.
