I've been having issue with the the vehicle not shifting out of 1st on it's own. Letting your foot off the accelerator will then allow it to shift into 2nd. After lots of research, I found that possible sticky primary or secondary valves in the Governor will cause symptoms like this.
I was looking at the "primary" valve and noticed it has two flat spots, one on each side of the smaller end. Is this normal? I haven't been able to find a photo that I can reference.
