I was drafted in Jan 67 and went in kicking and screaming like many others. Once in you Form a very special bond with your “band of brothers”. I was lucky and came out 23 months later but 5 brothers are now immortalized on the “wall”. I will never forget .....

When the Germans defeated the French Army in 1940, Hitler had them sign the treaty in the same coach, then had it blown up.
There is a video of Hitler doing a "jig" after the treaty was concluded (the coach is visible in the background), but the video was looped.
Hitler referred to the Germans that signed the Versailles Treaty...as the "November Criminals."

The treaty was not signed in a box car, it was signed in Marshall Foch's personal railway coach that was located in the town of Compiegne.
When the Germans defeated the French Army in 1940, Hitler had them sign the treaty in the same coach, then had it blown up.
