cleaning the dash

Haven't washed this truck yet, but planning to wash and clean the interior. 17 King Ranch, what is that dash material with the stitching? Plastic or what? Looks like leather, but dont think it is. What are you guys using on the cash to clean it?

Can't comment on the King Ranch, but on my Platinum the dash material that looks like leather with stitching is a plastic or vinyl. I've just been using a microfiber cloth, seems to work well.

XL and XLT trucks have an all-plastic dash. Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum trucks use a padded vinyl dash top with faux stitching. There is nothing special about it, just dyed padded vinyl. Armor-all actually works best.

I use 303 protectant on all of my interior stuff and exterior plastic. Works very well and does not have the super gloss that Armor All does which I prefer.

While there is almost a limitless number of products you can use on your dash, if just removing dust, I use the damp microfiber from drying the vehicle after a wash. No smudges, no stains, dust sticks to the damp cloth.

I also do this or use multi purpose cleaner. I hate using armor all etc because I find that the dust sticks to that even more after.

I open the all 4 doors and use a leaf blower. Works great on removing all the dust and dirt from all of the crevices, this is done once a week.

This is exactly how I clean my King Ranch dash; damp cloth only.
