I'm no authority on panels and find that interesting. What did it have, just a light by the license plate?
The light on the door is just a tail/license plate light. I have never seen a panel without tail/brake/turn signal lights on the rear quarters. I don't know how you could have a legal car without them, not street legal? And trying to find original lights to make it street legal is almost impossible..

I'm pretty sure it would have been earlier than 57 and if so, it also may have been phased out at different times in different jurisdictions.
