$55 dollars does seem a bit steep, but there's more that goes into the cost of an injection molded part that just the cost of the plastic pellets used to make it. There's engineering the part, researching the appropriate material and post molding decoration, manufacturing the mold, cap ex of a machine or the cost to farm out production to a custom molding shop, post production marketing, etc etc.
Disclaimer: I have nothing in on this, but I did do plastic injection molding for 35 years...so I have an understanding of the process. Will I be ordering a pair? Probably not...I'm more of a function over form type of guy.
That badge is clearly intended to make people think you have a Powerstroke yet it is a 6.2L. I would call that a "poseur" badge. I did really like the round Powerstroke badge on the 2011-2016 diesels; the current badge is pretty boring.
Even the factory 6.2L door badge is a bit out of touch because those were only used on the Raptor, far as I know.
I think everybody knows its a 6.2L because it doesn't have the rectangular Powerstroke badge.
But...like I always say...its your money, spend any way that makes you happy.

Injection molded (start to finish) processes in China, when working with known factories, are pennies on the dollar when comparing with US factories. The quality might not be there in a non ISO Chinese factory, but for this sort of part NASA quality is not needed or even wanted. But the thing is, if this part WAS from a US ISO facility then it should probably cost $55.00. As such, being how these originate in China, ain’t no way I’d pay half a Bennie plus for a $3.79 piece of plastic with counterfeit 3M double stick adhesive on the back. Just saying.
I have the Raptor style badges that are metal and I'm very happy with them. Regarding the price of these plastic ones that the OP bought, I'm sure Alibaba has them for like $2.00 to $5.00.

Genuine Ford replacement emblem costs 53.00 for 1 badge, where as my 6.2 knockoff was 55.00 duckets for 2

Read the 1st post troverman, I didn't ask for your opinion. Post was intended to provide a resource if by chance anyone else was interested in the product. I've owned 5 Superdutys: 5.4, 6.0, 6.0, 6.7, and now a 6.2 so I suppose I'm a poseur.
