Problem Resetting Clock

Problem Resetting Clock
2008 Escape LTD, 2.3 I4.
Owners manual doesn't say how to reset clock (for DST/reg time) correctly. It just says "Press Clock". That doesn't do anything. By trial and error I found that pressing "AUX" first gets me into LINE mode and then allows me to set the clock using the radio presets. So now it's set correctly.
But now the display that shows the time is also showing "LINE". That didn't show before. Pressing AUX doesn't get rid of the LINE.
How to get the "LINE" to disappear???

From the last printing of the 2008 manual online:
My wife says to set our 2010's clock, the radio or CD must be ON.
CLOCK:
To set the time, press CLOCK. The display will read SET TIME. Use the memory preset #s to enter in the desired time, hours and minutes. The clock will then begin from that time.
