2018's

The 2018's are sharp!!!!!!!!

I was driving through the dealer the other day with my bride as we're looking at Escapes and Explorers to replace the Expedition. The dealer has a loooong row of 2018's with both grills and they are nice looking!

it's amazing at how much the front fascia can change the complexion of the truck.

I'm not really a huge fan of the 2015-2017 grills so even if I were in the market, I likely would have skipped these years. I was trying to talk her into a 4x2 F-150 Screw but she just said no. Too big for her.

I think the 2018 front bumper looks much better. The '15-17 front bumpers never looked quite right.

I'd be tempted to wait and see what the new Bronco will look like.

I’ve never been a huge fan of the ‘15-‘17 front end either. The new design is sleeker and more integrated. Other than the larger bottom chin spoiler, I really like it...

Anyone up to snuff on a 2018 performance truck like the Lightning? They toyed with the idea in 2015 of bring it back but I have heard nothing.

There is a dealer in Georgia who sent Roush 5 Blue single cab shorts in 2017 with 5.0's. He had Roush put superchargers on them and a few others items. I heard they had the XLT chrome packages but could have been XL's. He added $15,000 to the base price of the truck and sold them quick. I have no idea if there were any more planned but I don't think you can get the 5.0 in a short bed single cab any more.
This is a screwup in my opinion for Ford. I'd love to have one.

A Ford dealer built some 2017s to be somewhat like a Lightning. They started life as plain XL regular cab short beds.

This Heroic Dealer Will Sell You a New Ford F-150 Lightning with 650 HP and a Warranty - The Drive

My guess is that they will do the same with some 2018s, if they haven't already.

I just saw an article on this dealership in Georgia and as I read it anyone can order one with the full factory warranty. It is a Roucsh version with Lightning emblems. Price is not outrageous at 49K +/-.
