I went to the dealer today and he said that I cannot order a 2007 superduty. They are only taking orders for 2008 now. Does everyone like the new 2008 styling?

For now, it's gonna be one of those things that will have to grow on you. There's some good, and there's some not so good. I think that integrated bumper step is just too cool though. I'm not sure about the headlights.

2008 Superduty

I agree...I am a big fan of the 08 restyling...I think the integrated tailgate step and even the new interior are both very cool upgrades.

lots of pros and cons...

PROS- interior is awesom...mirrors, rear bumper, all the added extras..(satilite radio, dvd players ect.) rims, tailgate handle.

CONS- HERE WE GO!!! headlights, grille, front end looks like a cross between chevys lights and dodges fog lights and grille (dodges older body style... the emblem in the middle of the tailgate is just like the f150 , like chevy's bow tie and like dodges ram...they all have something in the middle of the tailgate.YUCK!, superduty stamped everywhere i think is very cheesy...as for the talgate step and handle...i dont have problems getting into the bed of my truck, but thats probably because im 21, maybe good for the older guys who have put in alot of time working already and this makes it easier for you old guys!!! lol j/k i just think its one more thing to brake...the bubbley tail lights is like chevy's and last but not least the windshiels wiper fluid things in the middle of the hood, i just like them hidden and it looks like to black nipples on the hood...o yeah the paddle mirrors are going to look hideous...

all and all i would have rather seen a complete remodel like chevy and gmc did not just a facelift...but them again how can you improve upon perfection!!

Like the previous post states lots of pros and cons, I think I like the painted grill better then the chrome, and as far as the headlights go, well I just dont now yet. I think they could have come up with something a little more appealing. And another thought I think Ford should move away from the Dodge inspired hood, this design has been played out to long, come up with a new look for the big hood.

Staring at one right now on the front cover of Trailer Life. Headlights made me want to puke from day one, now I'm just nautious. Not much for the utilitarian interior styling, still like my '06 better. I love Ford trucks so I'm sure as I see them on the road it will grow on me. Just like when I first saw the '05-'07 nose change, I was a little cold towards it. Lots of nice new features on the '08's.

I'd like to see a sport model w/ the bumper painted to match. The two tone doesn't do it for me. IMO, the chrome wouldn't be bad if it didn't have that stupid strip that rolls up the hood.I think the dually looks the best w/ that frontend. I don't know it's just something about the size of the dually and the height of the grill that is visually more appealing. It's growing on me I guess but I don't have to worry. I've got 4yrs and 2 months left to pay for mine.

Maybe they'll change again between now and then......

Well as far as the grille is concerned, I like the chrome grill but it wont be long until the aftermarket will create a billet grill that may look awesome. The giant rectangles near each headlight is a bit goofy. Im wondering if the tailgate step (cool idea) will rattle around inside the gate and cause more problems. Ill be looking for an after market lift kit as well

Yeah that is one thing that has me concerned about the tailgate. The step is a neat idea but I see it causing a lot of trouble. How do you put a spay in bedliner on the tailgate now? What about shoveling/sweeping stuff out of the back of the bed. I would think stuff is constantly gonna get stuck down in there. Am I supposed to take the tailgate off every time I have to shovel out the back? Speaking of which, between the easy down stuff and the step I bet the tailgate is starting to get pretty heavy, I might not be able to take it off by myself.

I love Ford, but there is way too much stuff that I don't like about the 08's. I guess that's why I just bought an 07.
