So I finally have access to my phone again and have a question!
I don't know which place yet, but I will have to move to Montana, North Dakota, or Wyoming mid next year for a while. I've never lived where it's cold and snowy.
Should I bring my Bronco up North (wherever I get stationed?) Some people said they don't salt the roads up their anymore so I may be okay. I'm worried about salt/snow starting to rust out my Bronco which is currently pristine from being an AZ truck.
Also, if I do bring it up, what extra precautions/preparations should I take for cold weather operation? Anything I should add to the coolant or change the oil with anything specific?
Anyone from around there have any advice? If rust is too big of a concern, then I'll probably just look at buying a cheap truck to bring up instead. I'd maybe take my camaro, but I don't want that to rust either.
I'm sure they still use salt but its been awhile for me. As long as you have good GPR & GP's & batteries then you should be good. Go could switch to 5w40 synthetic oil. Good luck!
You're probably right! I feel pretty hesitant buying another vehicle when I have two, but it's definitely worth it to keep my vehicles in good condition.
Maybe I can find another cheep Bronco or if I'm lucky, super cheap powerstroke or IDI. I don't want to spend too much though because I need to save up for an engagement ring!
Buy the fluid film gun kit and a couple gallons of it and cover everything underneath take out tail lights and spray in there inside the doors and tailgate
