Leaf Spring Dimensions
OK, I need a hand from someone with a late seventies F250 with a leaf-spring front suspension.
I need the width of the springs, the distance between the 2 springs (inside to inside) and the length from shackle to shackle on one side.
Can someone please give me this info? I'm planning a project involving a full size Ford suspension under a Dakota.
Don't kick me off the Forum just yet, I still use a Ford for my towing rig.

Leaf Spring Dimensions
I measured my '79 F250 4 x 4 and found the following:
springs are 3 " wide, there are 3 of them,
distance between is 28 1/4 ",
shackle to shackle centerline is 53 1/2 "
