Who still sports the 7.3 plastic engine cover?

Just curiosity really? I think I moved mine to its new permanent home in the basement the 2nd time I had to change fuel filters or do some kind of maintenance where it was in the way, too many years ago for me to remember. Any ryme or reason one way or the other?

I removed mine because of the IC piping.

Mine was in the back seat of my truck when I bought it. The engine is missing one of the mounting studs, so the cover sits on a shelf in the shop.

A couple of years ago I thought about putting it back on. I felt it would just be in the way so it is collecting dust with some of the other parts.

Mine is off after putting an e-fuel kit on, but I want to get it back on. I like changes not being obvious if you don't know what to look for.

Mine was gone when I got the truck.

I'd put one on if I had it, I guess.

On shelf, removed when I did e-fuel. They used to fetch a pretty penny on eBay

I had to go out and look for mine since there was someone that asked about one on the parts wanted thread.

Here it is, dust and all.

I am still not ready to part with it just yet. Guess it will probably be something the kids have to get rid of when I die.

Just like the one from my 1991 Explorer and the 1992 Bronco 5.8. At least I did put the one back on the 2004 Expedition.

Holy cow that is a clean engine compartment. NICE

My cover lives in the attic.

I still have mine but it’s cracked. I’ll probably fix it and put it back on.

I personally like the cover installed- it hides some of the 'unpleasantness' of the intake valley, plus I've always been a Trans Am hood shaker fan and it reminds me of those. Silly, I know.

I have a 1997 F350 with a 7.3 powerstroke... I am looking for an engine cover. Do you have one to spare?

Just useless IMO, I recycled it years ago.
