Left Rear Door Ajar 2010 F150 Supercrew
#4
Very common issue for our trucks. I tried fixing (soldering and heat-shrinking) the broken wires in the black rubber tube between the door and the B-pillar in my '10 SCrew a couple times but ended up replacing the whole wire harness for the door. The fixes lasted a couple months, but so far the new harness has been good for a year. Hopefully it'll stay good for the same six years that the factory wires did.
My advise is to check for broken wires in the black rubber accordion tube first, and then when you inevitably find them, get a new door wire harness from your local dealer and fix it right the first time.
