I seem to get this consistently when I start the truck, quickly backup a very short distance and then go forward. From my experiences with it, I would guess that the computer software that renders the image for the 360 camera has not finished loading yet.

I am not 100% sure without checking but I think that I just get the backup camera and not the 360 when backing up. If I start the truck, wait a few seconds to backup and then go forward, I do not get this.

Never cared enough to look into it further and I generally try to do at least a few second warmup before moving.

I also see it occasionally. You will see it also has the ghost image of the rear parking assist "triangle". I think it may be a hold-over from F150 trucks that have the "pro trailer" option (pretty sure the F150&F250 software systems are both based on the same electronic platform), I surmise it is running through start-up checks and only flashes because maybe the Pro Trailer package is not available on SD trucks?

Do a master reset, its in the manual. easy to do, hold the power button inside the volume button and the same time you press the fast forward button (under the three in the pic) for about 10 seconds and it will reboot everything. That is the screen for the backup sensors coming up, and then not turning off, when you leave reverse.
