Howdy folks!

Still around... still have my truck... just a ton of stuff going on so I've been away from FTE completely for quite some time.

Bought a house... had another child (almost 4 years ago now) so we've been crazy busy on other fronts.

We did pick up a 2011 Expedition about 2 years ago which has been great.

Wonder where some of the others are... Cheeto, Dave S., pmasley, and several others I'm forgetting....?

 

Great to see you hare Baja. I have put out some feelers for some of the missing and even some of the first in the group.
You and Joe are the first to speak up.

Unfortunately, I'm in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. The company needed a logistics manager on this contract...and they made it worth my while...so here I am.

I'll try to contribute when I can...but between the time difference...I'm 7 hours ahead of you and the workload...10 to 12 hour days are the norm...and since there's no family here, us workaholics tend to put in time on our weekends too.

I'm not surprised at the lack of posts. When I was the Chapter Lead, I spent a ton of time just making sure folks were chatting about something or I was poking folks to get them to respond. That was part of the reason I had to give it up...it just ate up too much of my time. I had a blast with George and Steve back then! Wait till you go to Carlisle! Good Times!

 

Well that is a major change of address. How long will you be there? Remember all work and no play thing!

 

I'm here on a 1 year contract...but there are three years left on the corporate contract with the Saudi government...I've already been asked to consider staying the whole 3 years.

The commute sucks...but the airline miles should add up pretty quick.

 

They get someone they know and like they want them to stay. Is your better half there or home? That would make the difference for me!

I just changed my signature block...I still had myself listed as the Chapter Lead. Yeah...I'll catch up soon!
