shipping costs
Wow . This is more for our Canadian members but I just got a quote for shipping and handling from Mid Fifty , a solid side glass kit ( no glass ) , a cab mounting kit , a cab corner and a catalogue . $ 254 American so approx $ 305 Canadian . I have gotten a lot of parts from the south and never paid anywhere near this amount .

It's the same when I purchase from the US .
If I can get things posted using USPS it's usually not too bad price wise .
But when sellers insist on using UPS or other such companies it usually skyrockets .
If possible see if what you need is being sold on Ebay and take advantage of the global shipping through them , for me it is slower but it usually is very reasonably priced .

I've had them just send me USPS. I needed some screws, and the shipping was going to be $50.00. I told here to put them in a bubble pac envelope and just mail them. Cost me $5.00 to my door in Winnipeg. The rest of my order's I have shipped to a US address. How far are you from Dunseith, ND? They must have a border parcel service there?. Good Luck

Mid Fifty is ALWAYS high on shipping. They do free shipping every once in awhile. So if you have to order from them I'd wait until then. Or maybe call and tell them that you want to place the order. But won't if they can't do something about the shipping.
I'd also look around. They pretty much just resell other's parts. Do a google search for the part and then select images. See what other online vendors may have the same picture. More than likely you'll find it some where else

I'm 300+ miles from the border so that's out , and I can't find the flat side glass kit anywhere else the other stuff can be had from a lot of different places . I did call and ask them to try other shipping and told them at the price quoted I would have to cancel . Even at that price there's no gaurantee that I won't get the mystery $ 100+ duty charge that is completely random . P.S. The free shipping NEVER applies to Canada in my experience .

You should ask 56Panelford https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/member.php?u=297210 how he got his stuff. He ordered several fairly large parts.

Yes, Nu-Relic includes a sheet that gives you what the dimensions should be over the size of the opening so you can get the flat glass cut locally.

Various options available...Midfifty attends all the major F100 shows, they will bring your order to you at the show at no charge. I have a buddy who routinely drives to Midfifty (No. AZ) to pickup his parts...he is a long haul trucker so to him it's just a chip shot, to me it's too much driving. Most don't live close enough to drive anyway. There are so many online vendors who ship for free that I think that they are driving the costs up for the smaller vendors...what the shippers lose on Amazon they make up for on you and I.
