hey all I’ve been looking (with no success) for super single rims and tires for my 96 F350 7.3L. Wondering if anyone knows where I could possibly find these? Picture was found on google just using as reference.
I looked into it a few years ago and if you notice those are 22.5" wheels and most will be for a super single size wheel or even 24.5".
2 best options are find a set of used semi wheels and get adapters or find a custom wheel shop that could weld you some up.
My dad said he saw a guy that had welded 2 dually wheels together and ground down where the 2 wheels met and made it one wheel and put one super single tire on it but then you get into the problem of finding a 17" wide 16" or 17" diameter tire.
Maybe @herojeep can help here, I think he is running super singles on his giant EX.
It appears this question has been posted in a few different places and is attracting a lot of comments. I'll provide the specifications on mine and answer any questions.
8x170 to 10 lug adapters
22.5x12.25 Alcoa's
385/65R22.5 Hercules
Tread is 11.75"
I can't remember the total weight but it's a real heavy tire and wheel package.
Still, I love the look. 10 luggin
