I get some rub on the leafs at full turn. This is starting to annoy me more. I think what I needed were the 20x 10 which have some - offset
Sooo, I Love my wheels and want to keep the exact same style. I am assuming it would be incredibly difficult to find someone who wanted to trade a 20x10 for a 20x9. Is there any type of website or clearing house that would be helpful for some type of trade ? Should I try to sell mine and buy 20x10s or get some hubcentric spacers ?
A -12 offset will let you run 37x12.5. You can do this by getting one of the two sizes below.
20x9 wheel with a 4.5 inch backpace -12 offset
20x10 wheel with a 5 inch backspace -12 offset
These wheels wil center the tires exactly the same. With that offset and a 12.5 wide tire you will have just the side lugs poking out. It's a great fitment.
Here are mine. 20x10 / 5" backspace / -12 offset. Tire 275-65-20 (34.1 X 10.8)
It also has to do with "true" tire size. I run the Toyo open country a/t II 35x12.5r20 on a 20x10 wheel with 4.5bs. I have tire rub on the springs. The problem is the tire measures 13" wide. I'm thinking once the tread wears down some, it will stop rubbing.
