My truck, which is a non-AC '84, does not have hole #2 in your picture. Hole #1 I assume is for one of the studs in the plastic heater core housing. I can't see it on mine...I assume because my heater box is in place. The larger one...hole #3, on my truck is where the wiring harness passes through, and goes to the blower fan, solenoid, RH fender, etc.
A little farther back would help on the picture as I cant tell is this AC or non-AC firewall?
And yes they are different!
As a guess it is AC
1- no clue as I don't have that hole on mine.
2- is where the AC wire harness passes thru. (gr/p & bl/y wires)
3- is where the right side main wiring harness passes thru (ALT/REG, head/parking/side maker light, starter SOL wires)
4- a guess and I need to check mine AC drain?
non-AC firewall is different
and yes that is the same cab I swapped firewalls to get AC

I have a request being your truck is AC.
It looks like you might have the dash pulled apart mostly looking in the HVAC/Radio area.
I have some wires that are part of the AC harness that have been cut
The 2 wires at the top with plugs should be brown/orange (br/o)
Cut wires are 3 brown/white (br/w) and the other is green/purple (gr/p)
I need to know where the cut wires go to? I am thinking they may go to the fan switch in the HVAC control panel.
If so is there another gray plug that looks like it may go to the fan switch just hanging out back there?
Thanks for any help you can give
