Well Abe as fate would have it, i excitedly ran out to look at my 53 and low and behold someone has also stolen the shifter ball or sphereoid thingy so i can't help you Unless you have a spot for threaded end? I can't for the life of me figure out why someone would take that part and some other very minor parts and not the deluxe cab SS trim which BTW is in perfect condition. The teeth i can understand but the shifter **** ?

Well I am pretty sure that the 53 trucks had a round **** and 54 to 56 had the long spherical **** unless early 54s got the round ****.

Now I wonder how many guys bought round repopped ***** for their 54 or 55 because that what the catalogs said they need.

You could always give it the Tiger Woods upgrade and screw a golf ball on it... lol

In the 60's around my home town the fad was to have an 8ball on the shifter.

Or like John Milner had on his deuce coupe on American Graffiti. I believe it was a socket.
