Goal is to test fire the 226 next weekend but I have a few unresolved question. On the water pump I have a threaded inlet/outlet 90* out..what's that for? On the driver side of the motor I see another threaded inlet/outlet with an elbow turning towards cab, what's that lead to? And on the cylinder head driver side there's a threaded hole, what for? There might be one more threaded hole towards the rear of the distributor..if I'm not imagining things what's that for?
And potentially the stupidest question I've asked but I've never built a flathead before...where do I pour in oil? Oh and what oil is most recommended? Hot weather, 92F here.
