M 100 Color codes

New to FE, I recently purchased a 65 M100.( Mercury ) The color code is UJ on the door jam plate. If I am correct on the Ford color codes for UJ it would be red and green ? The truck is Wimbelton white and green. Any one know the Mercury color codes?

Welcome to FTE and congrats on owning a Merc! Member Dank4120 has the charts for a 1965 Mercury and can confirm. According to Fordification the codes you have are J= Caspian Blue and U= Honey Gold. This is the Winnipeg Blue Bombers colour scheme. Any chance you are from Manitoba?

Thanks Chad. I only have the 1966 manual which is the same as Ford. I am thinking the U is wimbledon white and would look far better than gold. I did have high hopes though that it was a special football series truck from a give away contest lol.

1966/68 Ford & Mercury trucks assembled in Canada use the same Warranty Plate, VIN and codes on the Warranty Plate as US trucks.

1965 Ford/Mercury Trucks assembled in Canada use a unique VIN .. Warranty Plate and codes stamped thereon.

Pic of 1965 Canadian example:

Yes - U is Wimbledon White when combined with a second letter.

Wimbledon White by itself is WW.
Caspian Blue by itself is JJ.

1965 Canadian codes.

Thanks RMM...Blue and gold would've been an interesting combination for a BC Lions fan... Turns out it was Caspian Blue and Wimbelton White

Well I am a Lions fan too. Caspian blue and white would be a dream come true for me as I love that colour combo. 1966 is my favourite year and they dropped Caspian blue or maybe they just renamed it. You have a sweet sounding ride!
