am in western wyoming 65 miles from utah and when i hit a rumble strip, the engine shuts off. I have the engine running now. Do i need to replace my CPS?
It should pop right out, no problem. I have swapped out two this year. I would assume a bad connection and order a new replacement one. It a $30 part, no reason to screw around.
The new cam position sensor has been installed thanks to a 10 mm deep well socket and a short extension. The connection looked very clean at the plug. If you don’t hear from me again, I made it home :-)
