So here’s photos of the wheel and compressor housing. I’d call the housing minor but I’m no turbo expert.

I truly hope it’s just compressor wheel that’s stripped and I do actually have a stock wheel still to test (if I can ever get the dang wheel off the shaft)

What do you guys think about the compressor housing damage?
I would say it might be wise to look at getting a new turbo as well. With the amount of damage done and cost of all the replacement parts, you may be wise to just upgrade.

The stock turbo can only take so much of a beating. It really hates life over 30psi of boost too, so if you are hitting that I can see why she decided to end her life.

Probably won’t have any updates until next week. Just started my 3 day hospital shift so no time. I will say the turbine wheel looked perfect though and that I was able to pick up a used stock turbo on eBay for $210 and the plan is to rebuild that and cross my fingers.
