ARRRRRRRRRRRRR -- venting

%*%*(#)$@*$)%* Ford engineers, how hard do you have to make it to get the *(&@($) transmission out of a Ford 4x4??!? I've been working on my truck trying to swap transmissions (the clutches on my transmission are gone ) I just wanna burn the *#$^ thing down at this one moment. Cause of the POS, I have to ride the freaking cheesewagon tommarow. Ugh! As much work as I put into that truck, It doesn't wanna cooperate.


Sigh...this will just make it sweeter when I start driving it again.

Lets see, what we have here is a need for a perscription of relaxers. I prescribe a case of cold brews, taken as needed. It looks like you might need to take an extra heavy dose to get started. You should feel better soon. If not repete as needed. I feel your pain, and the soon lack of hehehe. DR Dave.

I second Dave's "prescription".

Back when I was stupid:

Forewarning, I had a different breed of truck moons ago. I was low on cash, and time. I paid some bozo a case of beer to take the intake off, and he was stuck on one bolt. The bolt broke off, and he tried a tap and die, didn't work. Then the guy said he smacked it with a hammer to loosen it up. I was inside my place the whole time.

He came in all ticked off, he couldn't get that one bolt out. What I got was a cracked intake after the hammer job he did. I found some mobile mechanic guy that charged me $30, and he got that bolt out. But, I ended up having to purchase another intake because of bozo #1!

Take your time. And something to look at, be happy you're not dyslexic and working on your truck.
