20 years will do that that's for sure. It appears to me it holds your radiator in place. I cannot tell you if it is the top or the bottom but I can maybe take a look at my parts truck this week and get back to you

Ya, I kinda think it was on the bottom but I don’t remember what it fastened to but EricJ said it was for a cross-flow and I had at least two in in a couple of my Chevy’s. Okay yeah that is right, silly me. So I guess it is twenty-year-old trash. Now, that arm thing, with the nuts welded to it, I’m thinking it goes by the clutch but it may be left over from something else as well. I did not realize you had two different parts there. As far goes the part that has the 3 nuts welded to it my first impression is actually a bumper support that goes from the frame rail horn out to the corner of the bumper and also would not be off of a slick era truck in my opinion
