Okay I have a 292 in my truck and I have a tri-power system I'm going to put on it. Will the stock fuel pump work or should I get an aftermarket electric? I'm not sure what pressure the system should use, I will have a progressive linkage so not 3x2 all the time. Any ideas would be great. I'm leaning towards the electric but not sure.
I have a very low pressure electric pump in the beast but it is switchable. I only have a single carb and when running at speed especially going uphill the manual sometimes can’t keep up and it will stall. Switch on the pump and no problem.
Look in your manual, it might tell you gallons per minute(there will be a decimal in that number)and perhaps the pressure she will hold.
then you could check what your carbs require, maybe?
I am preety sure my book for my truck friend has her specs.
good luck.
Greg
What carbs are you using? Holley 94's? If so, go electric. 94's have little tolerance for high pressures, so you need a regulator for best results. To get flow on high demand, yet low pressure, and steady pressure, you want an electric.

Yes I have some 94's. still need to get them working before I put the assembly on.
