Update on Carburetor problem:
No longer have a problem with the fuel system, replaced the spark plugs and plug wires, tuned the engine and pulling about 19.75 inches of vacuum. During the fuel issue the float stuck in the carb, filling the oil pan with fuel and creating a major oil leak at the rear seal, guess that's next.
