Image posting.
I saw some comment/info White66 made on Steve Christiansen's hoist and didn't want to take that thread down a rabbet hole. I just had a couple things to add. I am happy to say, this forum posts pictures right from my files in full size. I am also still able to post images from my photobucket even though I didn't pay them the $399. I do however pay them $2.99 a month for extra storage.
And a question, I have only downloaded from my phone to my computer once and it took all my pictures off the phone. I have S6 galaxy, is there a way to download pictures to the computer and still keep them in the phone too?

Plug the phone in with a usb cable. The PC should see it as a drive.
Look for DCIM folder
I highlight my photos, right click & hit copy from the drop down menu.
Open a folder on the PC, right click & choose paste.
I usually resize the originals to 1024 X 768 individually or such and rename the smaller file pic. (edited)
Hope this helps.

Using a copy function should not, but if a "cut" function is used it will certainly take the files.
Our cheap J-3 Samsungs are pretty particular, but they leave what I tell them & take what's highlighted to the desktop.
I tend to use older DOS style (traditional view) stuff rather than Windows 8 & up.
Sorry it worked out that way.
