I don't know if I buy the story about being converted when it was new. Kind of looks like 70s Chevy fenders on the back.

I agree with 53deere. Those are 73-87 GM dually fenders for sure. The tailgate is also wrong and it appears as though maybe it had a piece welded in where it says Ford

Definitely 70's gm fenders. I thought about something like that but in my head I was going to use a set of Ford stepside fenders, and use a 1 ton to do it with. I would be easier to convince people it was factory

if had all ford parts on it.
