Flowmaster rust!

Flowmaster rust!
I put a Flowmaster Force II cat back sytem on my '03 S'Crew (duals out the rear) Where the polished tips meet the other pipes there if some severe deep rust forming. I've only had the exhaust on for 5 months and its rusting away. Has anyone else had this problem, or does anyone know what causes it or what to do to stop it. When you pay that much for exhaust you would hope it would last longer then a year before its rusted out. HELP!

Is it welded in that area? The weld will rust. I painted all of my welds when I had my exhaust installed with high temp clear paint. It discolored a little bit, but there are no signs of rust.

Actually on my exhaust there's a built in clamp into the exhaust tips. Where that clap meets the other pipes is where the rust is forming (on the bottom) But yeah that is a good tip about the welds!
