Nothing heavy in this pic, only had the truck for a week before I loaded up a Chenowth DR2 and headed down to the 50th Baja 1000 in Ensenada. Could hardly tell the trailer was behind this F250 but it used to push my F150 around a bit. Car weighs 1700 and the trailer weighs 1900.

Thats a nice buggy Turbo Dog.

I finally got to hook up my little 6'x10'x6' enclosed trailer because I had to move it to get ready to load it up next weekend. Decided to take a little strole down our gravel road to see how my truck pulls. I will say that this F250 does feel less strained vs my F150 5.0. But my 6.2 F250 has 3.73 gears and 32" tires vs the 3.55 gears and 33s on my F150. My trailer is only 960 pounds but its fairly tall and has a round front. No pictures yet because its dark here already but hopefully soon!

Enclosed 16 foot trailer with three bikes. Trailer is around 1800 lbs, aprilia is 400 lbs, Honda is 550 lbs, harley is about 800 lbs. All told its probably about 3500 lbs. Truck performed like champ. Towed from Ventura county up to Atascadero and got about 9 mpg. Same load towed out to Phoenix and made about 10 mpgs because of the flat straight nature of the 10.

Hey, it's a long driveway as the winter picture shows, and when I took the garbage out, it had FIVE bags in it, maybe 35 or 40 pounds!

You probably should think about a weight distribution hitch for that.

I like your color, and really like your topper.

I dont even think a weight distribution hitch would help for a load that big!

Color is Caribou. Cap is a Century, as that is what the store in town carries. Had an ARE on my 2000 and feel that both are fairly equal in quality and fit. I looked at most of them and the selling point was dealing with the in town dealer and having the store 2 miles from the house.

No place to attach the wdh bars or I'd use it!!

Today I towed my dump trailer to the coast to get a load of salt for my salt bin. I still had the sander in the truck too with a small amount of sand in it. As you can see the gcw was 22,460 which was without my 220 pounds in it. My truck weighs around 7,400 empty, so I was towing/hauling around 15,280. Towed about 40 miles on hilly 55-60 not roads, it did great!

I'll have to find it but I also have a slip of towing some stone this summer grossing a few thousand pounds more.

Bugzilla: great picture. I got a good chuckle, so thanks. But you know...a diesel would pull that with a lot more confidence! (sorry, couldn't resist)
