What do you tow with your 6.2...NO CAMPERS EDITION!!!

I would like to see pics of you guys working your 6.2's. I know some of y'all pull equipment and stuff. One thing I want to keep out is campers, this forum is filled with those pics, and not a lot of other things being pulled.

Here's an old pic of mine doing some work. It's a 6800lbs machine, plus the buckets, trailer, chains binders and saws/tools in the bed, this should be an easy 9k load. Pulls it great. Yes I know I need airbags.

There’s pictures of 4000lbs of rock in the bed somewhere on this site (what’s your payload?). I also haul grain and hay for 4 horses (mother-in law), grain and straw for my animals, motorcycle to the track, and lawn mower to the fire department I’m a member of and a bunch of properties I mow. Then there’s dump runs, water runs to Lowe’s, gas cans, wood for projects. Then there’s the 9000k camper...oops, sorry.

Ive got one of the lower payloads, my truck is an xl that originally had the little 245/75r17's. I can't remember right offhand, but it's just under 3k. I know it sure rides better than how some people complain about their trucks though, and I've never had stability issues.

Ha! The thread my picture is in is called “What’s your payload”. My xl 350 rides great too, no driveline vibes here either.

Never would have guessed with your user name.

This is from last year before we moved from Co, besides a load of gravel or topsoil I havent had anything exciting in the trailer lately.

This was also before I added the Firestone air bags. I had a loader operator overload me with gravel once, said he was waiting for the truck to squat. I should have been keeping a better eye on what he was doing anyways.

Hot.hogs that area looks a little barren but to me it is still some beautiful scenery. It almost looks like I could take a deep breath of that fresh air just from the pic. I really enjoy the pics that members show. :)

Back to the subject at hand....I like those pics where people are towing ridiculous amounts of hay.... anybody hauling hay?

Mcald62, that's a cool looking old tractor, what is it? I don't know much about older tractors, but I've spent a lot of hours on an older New Holland at a boat factory. I use to stage and load boats for transport.

Here's a big enclosed trailer. I was helping someone move. I have no idea how much it weighed but it was a big trailer, filled to the brim, with a lot of shop equipment (tools, etc).

I know I'm parked illegally here...it was a tight road and I was only there for a minute.

Theyre no ridiculous trailer loads of round bales, but my truck spends pretty much all summer shuttling loaded hay wagons a couple miles to my hay barn and bringing empties back. A stacked, loaded wagon comes out to somewhere around 7000 pounds. My phone conked out on me a little while ago so I lost a lot of my pictures, including any full loads.

Had to make an early morning side of the road rescue for my friend who lost a trailer bearing on the busy hwy 20. Close to 12k and loaded a little front heavy as he loaded it in a hurry to get us going.

It's really not a tractor, its a road grader. It's a 1947 Huber Maintainer. Maybe this picture is a little better. I do have a old tractor or two!

I see now, awesome! I was wondering what the belly attachment was with that cylinder. I ran brand new CAT road grader a couple years ago. That thing had more buttons than a space shuttle. Thought I was going to have to read the owners manual just to get it moving.
