1985 6.9,i want to put in a oil pressure gauge,were is the best place to attached to block ??

 

I have mine teed into the turbo oil feed line coming off the drivers side of the block at the rear. I have two tees, one for the factory gauge and another for the aftermarket gauge. There is another port into an oil gallery at the top rear of the block just behind the china wall for the intake, just like a big block. That is suitable as well and I believe the factory location for naturally aspirated engines. Not always practical when running a turbo, depending on the design.
