I don't plan on driving my '84 F250 this winter at all so will be storing it in the back yard.
What should I do as a minimum to prepare, nothing? Or should I take out the battery and store in my basement cold room or something...would that make it last longer?
I live in Canada so it will be subjected to temperatures as cold as -40.
I think I would at least take out the battery, keep it inside, but try to keep it out of the cold. If you have a concrete floor, put the battery on a piece of wood, not right on the floor.
I think you can get fuel additive (for storage) at an auto parts store, that might not be a bad idea either.
I'm sure you could do more, someone else could probably be more of a help
