COE grill find

While walking through Carlisle yesterday I found a very wide 48/50 grill, whan I asked the vendor about it he said all grilles are the same, we took a measurement and found it is definitely about 6'' wider than my F-3 grill.
So if anyone is interested PM me and I will give you the contact info on it

Wow. I didn't know that,
Ive had my eye on this bread truck for a long time. I never got real close to it to look at it but I assumed it would have been on an f2 or f3 chassis?

No, any conventional cabbed truck, F-1 through F-6 share the same grill. I was referring to the Vanettes, which were used for delivering bread, among other items.

Does the grill at the swap meet have the stainless trim? Some of the big truck guys are looking for that.

No Bob it was just grill without lights. I would of grabbed it for 175 with stainless.

I found one about ten years ago in a small central Wisconsin town I used to go through. I was in the back seat of a pick up scoping out properties for old iron. I spotted the headlight peeking out from a some brush behind a run down garage up a hill about 50 feet from the road, some times you can just smell them.. I had the driver of the pickup turn around. I stopped and bought the stainless trim for $20 off what turned out to be a collapsing, rotted out bread van.

Someone with an F-7/8 would ****** that up for $175 if they needed it, I would think. The trick is to find someone with an F-7/8 who needed it.

With all the holes you'd have to either have the stainless trim for it or weld up a lot of holes.
