I ordered my new white 4x4 diesel F350 XLT regular cab on 9-22-17 & have a build date for 10-23-17. Got just about every option I could order off Ford Build...I got a regular cab to be different. Everyone has a extended cab or crew cab. This isn't a work truck. I plan on putting on wheels & a lift kit when I get it. You don't see very many reg cabs that are lifted. Cant wait to get it..I'll show pics when it arrives..
Oooooh that sounds like my kinda truck. I love regular cabs, esp white ones that are lifted! Pics pics and more pics. What size lift and tires you thinkin?
I have a regular cab because i don't need or want a backseat and i need the 8' bed for my business. They are definitely rare, they only had a couple on the lot where i bought it and i have not seen another one on the road yet. I hardly even see older model regular cab trucks either.
I've stuck with reg cab's since the sixties had a 2015 super cab and all li did was collect junk in the back seat. When I had kids I had a station wagon for family stuff. Kids were gone by the time of the mini van's craize. Now it's 4Door 3/4 or 1 Ton pickups for daily drivers. Kinda funny they use to be for work.
My last F250 was a regular cab long bed. It was great before I had kids. I always liked the look. I put a tool box on for storage (Basketball gear, golf clubs, emergency items, etc.) Worked great back then. This time around I went for the super cab shortbed because the crew cab is just so long! I don't live in the country and parking can be an issue. Plus the super cabs are much bigger now than they were back then so its really plenty of space for kids.
Once both my kids are driving in a couple years that's what I want to go to is a regular cab. Easier to maneuver and at that point I won't need the crew anymore.
I also love the look of a regular cab. As others have said here, however, my lifestyle can't get away with not having all the interior hauling space of the crew cab.
