I ran a diagnostic on my truck and it showed a code of "P0603 INTERNAL CTRL MOD KAM ERROR". Does anyone know what it means. I do have a 60 HP chip installed.
I would try unhooking the batteries for about 1/2 hour and then reattaching. If it was a problem caused by installing the programmer Ford won't pay for the service.
I received the same code after programming my '99 F350 C.C. DRW with the Diablosport predator. I was told by Diablosport, that this code comes up everytime you cange the program... in other words, this code is the "tracks" left by program changes. Just erase it with the programmer.
It simply means you have a chip or tuner installed. It throws the code because internal checksums don't match with those of the chip. Its nothing to worry about.
I talked with Patrick at Diablo this weekend and he told me the newest Predator revision doesn't throw the code.
I just bought a 1705 Microtuner and the only code coming up on my tuner is P1111 System Pass (no DTC's available). Now Im not sure if this means that I have no faulty codes or that the tuner cant access the codes ??............ Can anyone help ?
95 PSD turbo.
I got the same thing after i fixed my wiring harness under the valve cover. I was getting the P0603 they were talking about earlier. After replacing the CPS and the PCM and still no luck i found a burnt harness under the cover. I fixed it cleared the codes and ran the DTC's again and got the P1111. So i assume that it means it cant find anything wrong. I hope i am on the right track for ya.
