Yes, Make sure that you get all of the old gasket material off, especially the metering block surfaces. Also, make sure to blow out all of the passages with carb cleaner or compressed air.
Also, go ahead and knock out the idle mixture screw plugs in the baseplate if it hasn't been done already.
