I think the last model change was 2014 or 2015. I believe that the changes are made every 4 years in which case the 17s are probably the same as the 16s. Others on this forum will probably more precisely answer the question.

In addition, the smaller Ford Transit Connect is receiving some changes come 2017, including standard SYNC 3 infotainment with a 6.5-inch touchscreen on the Ford Transit Connect Wagon Titanium. The system will be optional on the XLT trim level Transit Connect and Wagon. For the first time, even short-wheelbase Transit Connects will be available in Titanium trim, and reverse sensing, automatic headlamps, roof rails, and a 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat is being made standard on XLT and Titanium models.
