I decided to try some seafoam, even though I think the quick fix cans of whatever are usually a gimmick. I put some in the oil, some in the gas, and some in the vacuum lines. After I did that, it was starting after running, and it seems to be running a bit better, but still not perfect. Maybe I have stuck valves when it gets warm or something? When it was sitting it was taken apart, and the valve cover was off with a garbage bag over the engine.
You need to get a handle on the true fuel pressure. The engine will not run with 0 PSI per your previous post of fuel pressure.
When it rains it pours, but I was finally able to get a chance to test it.
Key on engine off it is 20 psi, and starts. If I cycle the key I can get it up to 53 psi before starting. I can also start it if it is at 20 psi, and it goes right up to about 50 psi. Hitting the throttle it goes up to about 53 psi. I drove it down the road and it held pressure the entire time. When I got back I shut it off, no start. It still had 53 psi when I was cranking it and no start.
