I'm still reading, I didn't see anything yet on this topic.
My 2000 navigator doesn't have 2wd. When in 2wd, it doesn't move. The rear axle is fine.
4wd high, and awd doesn't work. Shift motor maybe... but 4low works. Weird it won't shift to 4hi.
Has anyone had an issue with the rear output of transfer case not working?
The mechanic took the transfer case apart, and couldn't find anything wrong with it.
He's crying because he doesn't want to swap the transfer from my parts navigator to my good one.
Back to the first page for some more eyes.
I'm hoping to get this figured out soon. I need to tackle the hvac in the other navigator next... that's going to be a blast.
Correct... I'm asking if anyone knows what's wrong.
I've taken it apart under the truck, and it looks fine. Shift forks are good, things move correctly.
What's weird is the front output works, rear output does not.
Transfer case is straight through when in high range, and goes through planetary when in low, so the input is ok, it's output that is the issue.
