That's all normal too 
IDK, must have been the rotor contact burnin' and arcing, spreading the electrons around like a manure spreader...
Good thing ya had yur tools and extra wheels on that trip

It sure is strange. The old dizzy doesn't seem to have any play in it either 
Must just be one of those bizarre instances where something fails...or perhaps Motorcraft parts aren't what they used to be...
