Is the long bed flare side from 61 to 66 four-wheel-drive unique to those rigs with 120 inch wheelbase? The 2 Wheel Dr. version in those years would have 129 inch wheelbase so I'm wondering what other year I might find a compatible flare side bed to replace my factory wrong bed
Also wondering if the step between the bed in the cab is unique anyone know how long it should be on a 120 wheel base 4wd?
I would guess the 120" 4x4s and 122" 4x2s used the same 8' flareside bed.
The 114/115" used the short flareside bed.
As you already found the 128/129" had the fender moved back some.
The F350 used a 9' bed, easy to spot because it has four stake pockets.

Great info thanks! Does anyone have any info of the flare side steps? If I had the length and what they were sold to fit on I could probably work out which setup was sold for what WB and drive train.
Thanks guys! I was thinking 4,600.
What you got for engine in your 69 Paul? The one I am buying has a 360. Have a 69 351 May built and stick in it with a AOD or a 5 speed manual! Got time to plan for a great truck!
