17 f250 question
Hey guys i know everyone will probably roll their eyes at this one but how do you get rid of the double honk when closing the doors with the keys in your pocket? Ive read some posts about other vehicles but nothing on the f series. Some say to leave the door ajar or keep the keys in the truck which is fine and dandy but if i run into a store quick and dont want to shut the truck down ill bring my keys so i can lock the doors. Ive read you can use forscan but had no luck with it. Can i do this with a full blown snap on scanner? I hooked mine up but couldnt find any settings or anything.

Go to the forscan discussion on this or the f150 site. It’s pretty straight forward. all then instructions are there including what Bluetooth dongle works best. Then it’s just changing the codes to the ones listed in the spreadsheet.
